There is a lot of Windows Vista replica themes… Well, here is VistaLike theme from HedoneDesign – Multifunction theme with Wallpaper ExpansionPack!
This is the real Win Vista Replica theme for BlackBerry. With sharp and clean graphics and additional buttons. Beside classical icons that you find on HomeScreen, this theme provides a bit more. Signal and battery meters are buttons and the same goes for clock and date. That way you don’t have to leave HomeScreen to get to any of frequently used functions or programs.
We prepared several options of this theme for you! Check available options and select between this versions:
- Zen
- TodayPreview (shows future events when icon is selected (not clicked))
- TodayPlus (shows messages and Calendar events on HomeScreen)
- TodayPlus Messages (shows more messages on homescreen and no Calendar events)
- TodayPlus Calendar (shows more Calendar events and no Messages on homescreen)

Beautiful theme as most of yours. There is one question remaining only: why don’t u make this theme for the Flip? I have noticed in the past that all your nice, unique themes was made for almost every other model but the Flip? I do mean it I want an answer now. I fed up how the flip always being ignored.
OK here is why… screen dimensions and sizes of graphics material is totally unique for 8200. That means we need to input more hours of work for BB that very small group of people have.

Thank you for your quick respond. I do understand the flip has 2 screens agents the others. However what u mean u have to input more hours for a very small group of people? Those “few” who has a flip doesn’t deserve your nice themes? Other developers make themes for that small group as well. Or u just don’t wanna waste your time for that “small group” of people with the flip. That’s not a nice attitude from the business point of view.
I’m sorry krisztibi… it didn’t sound as i wanted to… it’s not that we don’t wanna spend time making themes for 8200 too… problem is that 8200 have dimensions that are not as any other BB so all the material has to be done from scratch.
we also don’t have any 8200 model to test our themes on it… but that will change too… as you know we are now starting new thing at HedoneDesign… Beta testing group!!! so if you didn’t apply yet, pls check this article and apply so our design team can check comments and select users who will help us make our themes even better!

This is a great theme, with a couple of exceptions:
1 – nowhere is the current profile indicated on the home screen. Not knowing if the phone is in loud/vibrate/silent mode without having to perform several key presses is a real issue.
2 – dump the “start button” as it’s useless. Replace it with a weather app doc, media launcher or some other user configurable icon. Having a button taking up valuable space on the home screen when there’s a dedicated keyboard icon to do the same thing is rather pointless. Form follows function

Hey Psyclism! True… we don’t usualy put profile button to homescreen, but you almost always have more than 6 icons on home screen in our themes, so you can put it every where you like.

Start button is there coz you have it in Vista too. and its good thing for older devices and Storm so users doesn’t have to click on Menu button.

I am diggin the all calender version till i realized that it wont pick up on all my calender entries. it will only pick up the facebook and ascendo money entries. Not real happy about it
You just need to go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Defaults and select the default mail you use for calendar events. that way you’ll see calendar events you want.
Trying to figure out which one is the preview and which one is today +… with preview will the calendar and messages show when scrolled over??? and is the today plus with the dedicated messages & calendar? I want to make sure I purchase the right one
Today Preview is the one showing events and messages when icon is scrolled over… TodayPlus is the one showing Messages and Calendar non stop on home screen… and than you have TodayPlus Calendar and TodayPlus Messages for those who would like to have only Calendar or only Messages on HomeScreen!

Your themes are visibly awesome by your screenshots but contain a bit of design flaws that are rather bothersome for a purchased theme. I purchased three different versions of this theme from mobihand.com for my 8530 using OSv5. My favorite is the Calendar view.
Here are the issues I’m having with them all. In the Homescreen Banner, all of the mail notification icons, the Bluetooth, WiFi and location icons need to be moved down a bit to actually be completely in the grey bar.
In the Sound Profiles, it’s missing a custom icon for “Medium”.
For the Buttons, the Font colors should be changed from the defaults used in Theme Builder of white and grey to something that makes the text more visible in the buttons themselves.
The size of the graphic used for the “Active” button doesn’t match the size of the graphics you’ve changed for the “Normal” & “Highlight” buttons. Because of this, the buttons like “OK” & “Cancel” display a white patch in it when depressed or “Activated”.
In Messages, I use font size 7. When the size is set below 8, the title for the date gets cut off at the bottom.
Because of the items I’ve listed above, it seems that this theme was thrown together and not truly tested. These are all design issues and easily fixed on your end. I’m sorry to say that these finer points have made me very unhappy with the 3 themes I’ve purchased ($21 + tax). If these issues were to be resolved and forwarded to customers who’ve purchased it, I’d be a very satisfied customer. I’d also be reassured that are striving to make and support quality products.
This is the second posting of this because HeDoneDesign removed my first post and blocked me from further posts. I’ve had to create another account to get this to post. They also have not tried to contact me in any way after my first post.
If you are trying to reach HDs technical support trough comments than you need to understand that we always remove comment till we find same problem on our test BBs and/or we have answer for you. and you need to understand that comments are not forwarded to technical support e-mail!!!
We have e-mail for technical support so you can contact us if you think there is any problem with theme you bought. that e-mail address is also added to all orders from our store so you can not miss it and so you know where to turn in case of any problems.
we have three comments and one mail from you and two guys working on the same problem for same person.
Oh… and you are not blocked from further posting.
Thanx for responding so fast (this time). I can understand now why my original post may have been removed by your staff. I’m very much looking forward to working with you to resolve my issues & would happily promote a quality product when we’re done.
Three weeks later, all I’ve gotten is “Our designers didn’t gave us any answer yet about this theme.” Please talk to who ever is on the other end of helpdesk@hedonedesign.com to see my comments.
