SCREENSHOTS:

Hi, just purchased this theme and I love the streamlined design and overall well equipped theme.
One thing I would like you to change: the SMS text for BB 9000 running on the 5.0 OS. You see, the background is white, and the font is extremely light gray, it’s almost impossible to use. Please, make a fix or I’ll have to request a refund.
Thank you.
Just purchased this and Quelos. Highly professional. Beautiful icons. At the top for Blackberry themes.
Just a few comments.
Wish for no delay for icon description words as you hover over top five home icons.
TodayPreview should show only each day not dates in the future.
Current time needs the addition of the current date.
Email icon needs a matching icon not the default RIM icon.
Anyway still love this theme. Thanks
Today previews on every theme I’ve installed normally show as many future items as will fit, even if they’re over more than one day
I was trying to go thru icons and figure out which ones aren’t themed… email settings & setup bluetooth, That’s all i could find on my 9000 5.0 device. Not bad, especially as those are hidden (at least for me) in settings folder.
My only small beef… the theme really can’t be used with other walls since the dark highlight is always on the bottom, not just for today icons. Changing it so the dark shading was there only for “today” items (which are easy to identify as they’re in the first 3 of the fixed icons), would change it to a very clean.. and wallpaper friendly… theme. To be fair, it’s in all the screenshots, but I think this would be an improvement.
I thought the same thing about the shaded Today area. Just a small complaint though. Overall, it’s not a bad theme at all.
Just got Ambros for my 9550. All in all this is my favorite theme. Despite that I have three criticisms. The top four apps on the home screen should be adjustable. I’m not sure what the SMS & phone apps are doing there. SMS is included in the email. The phone is the main button that comes with the phone. There are two area’s at the very top right & left of the screen that seem to open random apps. How do these two areas work? Why isn’t the date on the home screen?
I agree with your comment about there being no need to have the phone (call log) in the fixed icons. Otherwise, the fixed icons chosen work for me. To be fair though, there is an option to separate SMS/MMS from Messages, which is one that I use and I’m sure a number of others use. With the number of text messages coming in, it’s easier to not lose track of messages if the sms messages are separate. In the days before customizable icons in themes, I was one of the people advocating including SMS. In this case, the design itself includes the smaller, simplified and easy to identify icons on the top row which are different from the icon set itself. The problem, of course with any theme that has fixed icons is that everyone would choose a different set of fixed icons. Fortunately, the theme also allows for 5 (on 9000) custom icons on the home screen.
Love the theme… aesthetically it is definitely pleasing, however I could personally do without having SMS/MMS, Manage Connections and phone as dedicated icons on the main row… I usually integrate my SMS/MMS into my messages folder, the phone icon can easily be used by tapping the phone key on the device and manage connections is something I rarely use…
With that being said I still love the theme! I can take the fact the icons are there and use QuickLaunch to launch any applications I wanted to have on the main screen… love the fact that this theme IS wallpaper friendly, that helps alot!!! All in all great work!
Hi Hedone,
I purchased this theme, but was wondering if Hedone would consider making a version of this theme with perhaps the chryom icon set? and perhaps making the today preview area reachable through scroll? Thanks for such a great theme!
Regards,
Vince
Love the theme, but something has to be done about the gray text in some apps (I noticed this in MeterBerry). This is pretty tough on the eyes and difficult to read. Can this be addressed in an update in the future?
Please contact our helpdesk to get info on this and other possible future updates.
Great Theme!
Only one recomendation, when a message arrives, the little red circle (indicator) should show in the predefined message icon instead of showing it on the floating one.
Cheers
